The Belgian IPBES National Focal Point is pleased to invite you to our

Registration is open until Thursday 13/03 noon.

In December 2024, two landmark IPBES assessment reports were approved at the eleventh session of the IPBES Plenary in Windhoek, Namibia. These are the IPBES NexusAssessment and TransformativeChange assessment reports.
🔍The Nexus assessment tackles the interlinkages of biodiversity, water, food, health and climate change, truly ambitious work to bridge single-issue siloes.
📚 The Transformative Change assessment focuses on the underlying causes of the biodiversity crisis, the determinants of change and shows pathways for a more just & sustainable world.
On 19 March, we will present these two new assessments and discuss with researchers, policymakers and practitioners what these assessments can mean in the Belgian context.
