First European Congress of Conservation Biology (ECCB)

22 to 26 Aug 2006 Eger
22 Aug. 06

This keystone congress aims to bring together a wide array of academics, policy makers, students, NGO representatives and media from all over Europe...

Theme

ECCB intend to cover all aspects of conservation biology under the theme of 'diversity for Europe'. Contributions are expected to reflect the biological and cultural diversity of our continent, as well as the diversity of approaches to conservation. Problems of linking science, policy and practice will be addressed specifically. Symposia, workshops and papers on a wide range of issues are invited. Please visit the website, where a call for symposia will be presented in spring 2005, and call for papers in autumn 2005.

Conference benefits

  • to develop and to be involved into a strong European community of conservation biologists;
  • to learn the cutting edge of conservation sciences;
  • to get first-hand information on European conservation policy and funding possibilities;
  • to share your conservation results and problems with others.
