Biodiversity Spring Market

Biodiversity Spring Market

23 March 2022 in Brussels

The Belgian Biodiversity Platform is once again happy to invite you to the seventh edition of our Biodiversity Market (formally known as the BEES Market). As you may know, the market is traditionally hosted around Christmas, but due to last year's Covid-19 developments, we decided to postpone our event to the Spring.

This international science-policy-practice fair invites participation from all of our working areas on Biodiversity research, policy and practice including topics such as Invasive Alien Species, Biodiversity & Health, Biodiversity conservation and Nature-based Solutions, Biodiversity Data...

Against the background of the Nature Restoration Law currently being developed by the European Commission, this edition of the Biodiversity Market will have a particular focus on nature restoration in Europe. In full collaboration with the European Commission, the programme includes a high-level information session in the morning, with presentations on the topic of nature restoration from various actors. In the afternoon, you can present your own project or organisation on the market as well as browse stands and chat with colleagues from across Belgium, the EU member states and associated countries. As always, there will be food, drinks and prizes for the most original stands.

The event will take place on 23rd March 2022 at INBO in Brussels (Avenue du Port - Havenlaan 88, 1000 Brussels) from 10 am to 6 pm.

You can find a detailed programme of the event here. You can check out impressions from our previous events here and here.
