Public consultation launched by the European Commission of key importance to researchers

You are invited to participate in the public consultation launched by the European Commission that seeks the views of the stakeholders and the broader public on the Joint Programmes between Member States on the basis of Art.185. The results will be crucial for the positioning of Member State funded activities in the context of the next Framework Programme.

We are all concerned by this, be it as researchers or companies that receiving funding from these or other initiatives, be it as representatives from organisations that design and implement them.

Please, make sure your voice is heard and your opinion taken into account.

Art. 185 initiatives are the most visible "testimonials" for successful Joint Programmes between Member States / Associated States and the EU. By 2020, more than 5 billion € of public R&D funds will have been jointly invested by Participating States and the EU.

Art. 185 initiatives have many stakeholders – from ministries in member countries, funding agencies, companies, universities, individual researchers up to individual citizen benefitting from the results of individual R&D projects.

That's why the results of the public consultation, which was opened on 27 January, are important to shape the future of Joint Programming in Europe.
We need your feedback to make Art. 185 initiatives even more relevant and more attractive for the best participants. Please support us participating in the public consultations and providing your views.
You can further support us by reaching out to all relevant stakeholders and help us in collecting as many replies as possible to have a sufficient base for a thorough analysis.
