Ecological engineering and climate risks - Water and climate workshop

Call for contributions

The Water Agency of Seine - Normandy organizes its international workshop on "Ecological engineering and climate risks" in September 2017 in Paris.

This workshop will be held in partnership with the French Development Agency (AFD), the French Biodiversity Agency (AFB), Sustainable Development and International Relations Institute (IDDRI), the French Water Partnership (FWP) and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

You are a project leader in ecological engineering (local authority, farmer, company, NGO...) and you want to share your experience? Your feedback will illustrate ecosystems or landscapes features protection or recovery contributing to undermine water-related risks that your country may be facing.
This meeting will promote your skills and help identify obstacles and incentives to develop ecological engineering solutions.

A multidisciplinary experts committee will consider your suggestions ensuring a balanced geographic distribution, an equal representation of different stakeholders and territories.

Projects presenting measurement and monitoring tools and/or proof of achievement (publications, photos, impact assessment...) will be preferred.
